Important Notice for our Canada Customers

Effective 1 July 2026, new import regulations and postage requirements will apply to shipments from Australia to Canada.

These changes include the requirement for Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) shipping.

What this means for your order

From 1 July 2026, all orders shipped to Canada will be sent using Delivered Duty UnPaid (DDU). Any applicable import duties and taxes will be required to be paid by you on release of your parcel from customs.

These changes align with customs requirements already in place for the USA and many other international destinations.

Canadian Orders: Prices shown are in AU dollars. The final amount charged in your currency may vary due to exchange rates, currency conversion fees, and other charges applied by your bank or card provider. Pets-Megastore has no control over these rates or fees.

Important Notice for Our EU, United Kingdom Customers

Effective 1 July 2026, new import regulations will apply to shipments from Australia to the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK),

These changes include the removal of the EU de minimis threshold, the introduction of the €3 EU Customs Duty, and the mandatory labelling of “Sale of Goods”.

What this means for your order

From 1 July 2026, all orders shipped to the EU, UK, will be required to have international duties and taxes paid at customs in accordance with you countries importing policy’s. Any applicable import duties and taxes will be payable by you upon customs clearance of your parcel.

These changes align with customs requirements already in place for the USA and many other international destinations.

Current shipping times for domestic and international shipping services are as follows.

Australian Domestic Standard Parcels: 7 to 14 business days.
Australian Express: 3 to 6 business days.
Standard International: 7 to 14 business days, worldwide
DHL Standard: 7 to 14 Business Days. United States only.
Express International: 4 to 8 business days, worldwide
DHL Express International: 3 to 7 business days.

PLEASE NOTE:

These time frames are an estimate only.
Delivery times will depend on the postal services worldwide and how busy they are the time of processing and delivery.

TRACKING NUMBERS:

Your order will have a tracking number.
This tracking number can be used on the Australia Post website and on your national mail carrier website.
If you have any concerns with the tracking on your parcel, please contact your national mail carrier with your tracking number for further assistance.

Once an order has been dispatched and collected by Australia Post or DHL, Vet Meds For Pets no longer has any control over the handling and delivery times of the parcel.

EU VAT and FEES:

Please be advised that from 1 July 2021, the EU have introduced reforms to the value-added tax (VAT) These changes include the removal of the €22 VAT-free threshold. All items from €0-150 will have VAT, customs clearance fees applied.
Orders over €150 VAT and Fees remain the same upon customs clearance.
These additional fees and VAT will be payable by the customer/receiver before your parcel can be cleared from customs.
You will be notified by your local customs that you have an International parcel awaiting clearance.
Goods cannot be sent direct to customers until the VAT has been collected. This may add delivery delays due to customs processing.
Please be advised that this is not an extra charge from Vet Meds For Pets and that the VAT payable is the responsibility of the customer/receiver upon your parcel being cleared from customs.
In the event of any parcels being returned to Vet Meds For Pets due to non payment of VAT a refund will be applied upon receipt for the product only, shipping costs are not refundable.

DHL Express: $60.00AU (3-7 business days) for your parcel to arrive by Air Mail & delivered by DHL. (Tracking number available on request)

Tracking Numbers: Once your parcel arrives in your country it can be tracked through your local postal carriers website ie. USPS Mail, Canada Mail, Royal Mail, DHL etc.)

If you live in a capital city within Australia:

Flat Rate: $13.95AU (7-14 business days).
Express Post: From $18.70AU depending on your location and parcel weight, this will be calculated at checkout. (3-6 business days) depending on location.

All orders over 2 kilo postage weight maybe charged additional postage subject to weight of the order and the destination country.
