Important Notice for our Canada Customers

Effective 1 July 2026, new import regulations and postage requirements will apply to shipments from Australia to Canada.

These changes include the requirement for Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) shipping.

What this means for your order

From 1 July 2026, all orders shipped to Canada will be sent using Delivered Duty UnPaid (DDU). Any applicable import duties and taxes will be required to be paid by you on release of your parcel from customs. 

These changes align with customs requirements already in place for the USA and many other international destinations.

Canadian Orders: Prices shown are in AU dollars. The final amount charged in your currency may vary due to exchange rates, currency conversion fees, and other charges applied by your bank or card provider. Pets-Megastore has no control over these rates or fees.

Important Notice for Our EU, United Kingdom Customers

Effective 1 July 2026, new import regulations will apply to shipments from Australia to the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), 

These changes include the removal of the EU de minimis threshold, the introduction of the €3 EU Customs Duty, and the mandatory labelling of “Sale of Goods”.

What this means for your order

From 1 July 2026, all orders shipped to the EU, UK, will be required to have international duties and taxes paid at customs in accordance with you countries importing policy’s. Any applicable import duties and taxes will be payable by you upon customs clearance of your parcel.

These changes align with customs requirements already in place for the USA and many other international destinations.

Please Note: Any import duties, customs duties or restrictions incurred by international customers are the responsibility of the customer and are beyond the control of Vet Meds for Pets. Please check with your local authorities prior to purchase. Any orders unclaimed and sent back to Vet Meds for Pets will forfeit the initial postage fee and any refund given will be less fees, duties or taxes incurred in reclaiming the order from the carrier.

 

Notice for Our American Customers
Import Duties & Taxes will now apply to all orders shipped to the United States

The Duties & Taxes will be added to your order during checkout, we are then required to pay this fee to the appropriote authoritys on your behalf.

Attention Customers of EU member states.

Please be advised that from 1 July 2021, the EU have introduced reforms to the value-added tax (VAT) These changes include the removal of the €22 VAT-free threshold. All items from €0-150 will have VAT, customs clearance fees applied. Orders over €150 VAT and Fees remain the same upon customs clearance. These additional fees and VAT will be payable by the customer/receiver before your parcel can be cleared from customs. You will be notified by your local customs that you have an International parcel awaiting clearance. Goods cannot be sent direct to customers until the VAT has been collected. This may add delivery delays due to customs processing.

Please be advised that this is not an extra charge from Vet Meds for Pets and that the VAT payable is the responsibility of the customer/receiver upon your parcel being cleared from customs. In the event of any parcels being returned to Vet Meds for Pets due to non payment of VAT a refund will be applied upon receipt for the product only, shipping costs are not refundable.

What payment methods do you accept?

Paypal and Credit/Debit cards. (Please note that credit/debit card payments are temporarily unavailable) Paypal is currently the only payment method.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover card, debit cards and cheques via the world's most trusted payment gateway Paypal. One offpayments are accepted by Paypal or you can create an account or use and existing account. 

Is it safe to use my Credit Card at your shop? 

Vet Meds for Pets uses Paypal, which is one of the worlds most recognized & safe methods of credit card payment. All credit card information is transmitted via secure industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption provided by Paypal. Credit card details are used only for processing of payment and are never stored in our database. 

How much is shipping? 

Please see this information in the “shipping” section.

All orders are typically shipped the same day the order is placed, or the following business day.

Orders placed during the weekends or holidays will be shipped the next open business day.

Vet Meds For Pets is not responsible for packages that are delayed due to unforeseen events beyond our control including, but not limited to, the following:

  • the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God;
  • insufficient information provided by a customer;
  • the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment;
  • strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks; and natural disasters.

Why is there no telephone contact numbers to call?

Vet Meds For Pets has reduced all costs to provide you with the best possible prices. Our busy clinic finds it easier and more cost effective to answer all your inquires by email. All emails and messages will be answered within 24 hours.
